AIIMS MBBS Application Form 2022: The medical aspirants who wish to appear for the AIIMS MBBS exam can submit their application form from the 1st week of February 2022. The application form for AIIMS MBBS will be made available on the official website of AIIMS institute. Only online mode of form filling and submission will be entertained by the institute. The candidates are advised not to make more than one application form for the exam. All the interested candidates who also fulfill the eligibility criteria can fill the AIIMS MBBS Application Form 2022.

How to fill the AIIMS MBBS Application Form 2022?

Go to the official website of AIIMS aiimsexams.org and select the tab ‘academic courses’. Now, select the desired course from the options available (MBBS in this case). You will be directed to the ‘new registration page’. The process of filling AIIMS MBBS Application Form 2022 is six-step process, each one described in detail below.

On the new registration page, tap on ‘click here’ button. A page containing instructions will appear. Read all the instruction carefully and click on ‘Proceed’ button. The registration form will appear on the screen.

Step 1: Registration

In the registration form, the candidates will have to provide their personal details, AIIMS preference and contact details.

  • Personal details include: Candidates’ name, father’s name, mother’s name, Date of birth, gender, category, nationality, state of domicile, details of id proof, language of question paper, appeared in AIIMS MBBS earlier entrance exam or not
  • AIIMS Preference: 6 different preferences for AIIMS
  • Contact details include: Email id, phone number, alternate phone number (if any)

Sign the declaration and click on ‘register’.

After clicking on register, ‘candidate id’ will be displayed on the screen. The candidate id and password will also be sent to the registered mail and phone number.

Login using these credentials and change the password of your choice. When you login again using the new password, the filled in registration form will appear on the screen. You can either click on ‘edit’ to make any changes in the application form or can click on ‘proceed to step 2’.

Step 2: Application Fee Payment

The application fee payment can be done only through online mode via net banking/ credit card/ debit card. The candidate can select any payment gateway, SBI or PayGov. The structure of the fee to be submitted is given as:

*The candidates will also have to bear the bank transaction charges in addition to the application fee.

After successful submission of application fee, a payment receipt will be generated. The applicants should take a printout of this receipt as a proof of successful fee payment.

Step 3: City Choice

The candidate will have to select the exam center of their choice in this step. The choice made for the exam city will not be changed later. After selecting the city, click on ‘proceed to step 4’.

Step 4: Qualification and Address Details

The candidates will have to enter the details of their educational qualification and their address in the AIIMS MBBS Application Form 2022.

  • Educational Qualification details include: Name of qualifying exam, exam status, board name, state name, marks obtained, maximum marks
  • Address details include: Permanent address and correspondence address

After entering all the details successfully, click on ‘proceed to step 5’ button.

Step 5: Upload Images

In this step, the candidates will have to upload the scanned images of their photograph, signature and thumb impression. The photograph must be taken against a white background and the signature and thumb impression should be taken on a white sheet of paper.

Step 6: Print Application Form

The last step will be taking a printout of the filled-in application form. After completing the step 5, a preview of application form will appear on the screen. Click on the ‘proceed’ button and take the printout of the AIIMS MBBS Application Form 2022 by clicking on ‘print’ button. After this, click on the ‘final submit’ button to complete the form submission process.

The print out of the AIIMS MBBS Application Form 2022 and the receipt of fee payment must be kept safe in case of future reference.

The status of the application form will be uploaded on the official website after scrutiny of the uploaded image. An email/ SMS regarding the same will also be sent to the registered mail/ phone number. However, the candidates should not wait for email/ SMS and must check their application status as per the specified date.

Incomplete application form will be rejected and no communication in this regard will be provided by the Institute.

AIIMS MBBS Eligibility Criteria 2022

Before proceeding towards the submission of AIIMS MBBS Application Form 2022, the applicants must ensure their eligibility criteria. The following are the basic eligibility criteria for AIIMS MBBS entrance exam:

  • Indian citizens, Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) & Non-Resident Indians (NRI) are eligible for AIIMS MBBS exam.
  • The minimum age of the candidates should be 17 years as on 31st December 2022.
  • The applicants should have passed class 12th or equivalent exam with English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology as subject.
  • The minimum aggregate marks to be obtained in these subjects are 60% (50% for SC/ ST/ PWBD candidates).
  • The foreign national candidates who have passed the qualifying exam with 50% aggregate marks in English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology can apply for admission in AIIMS New Delhi without appearing in the entrance test.
