NEET UG Syllabus 2024: Physics, Chemistry and Biology
A fair idea of syllabus is very important in order to prepare for any competitive exam. Same will be the case of NEET UG exam. The syllabus for NEET UG will mainly cover the topics from the subjects of Physics, Chemistry and Biology from the curriculum of class 11th and 12th. However since 2021, the National Testing Agency (NTA) has been conducting NEET UG exam, the syllabus for the exam may or may not change. The final confirmation will be provided by the authorities and if there are any changes in the NEET UG Syllabus 2024, the same will be updated here.
NEET UG Syllabus 2024
The Medical Council of India (MCI) has prescribed the following syllabus for NEET UG exam. This syllabus has been determined on the basis of review of various state syllabi and the syllabus prepared by the CBSE, NCERT and COBSE. Note: This NEET UG syllabus 2024 has been designed to maintain a uniformity keeping in mind the importance of different areas in medical education.
NEET UG Exam Pattern
- The exam will be conducted in offline mode.
- 180 questions of MCQ type will be asked.
- The duration of the exam will be 3 hours.
- The question paper will be in English, Hindi, Gujarati, Marathi, Oriya, Assamese, Bengali, Telugu, Tamil, and Kannada.
- 4 marks will be provided for every correct answer and 1 mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.
